On Dec. 14, Greg Noschese was sworn in as an Alternate Municipal Court Judge for the City of Mesquite’s Municipal Court. Noschese joins Alternate Municipal Court Judges Janice McKee and Robert Beasley who will support Assistant Municipal Court Judge Warren Nystrom and Municipal Court Judge Detra Hill to allow greater scheduling flexibility to meet the current workload of arraignments, warrants, emergency protective orders and court docket preparation with no fiscal impact to the City’s budget.
The City of Mesquite’s voluntary compliance continues to be the leading method of compliance in Mesquite, more than eight out of every 10 properties with an environmental code violation, such as high grass, is successfully resolved through voluntary compliance by property owners.
