Belton Independent School District issued the following announcement.
Members of the district’s Journey of a Graduate design team discussed competencies that describe attributes desired in Belton ISD graduates at the group’s second virtual meeting on Dec. 2.
About 90 students, staff and community members in attendance were presented information by a facilitator and had the opportunity to collaborate, compare and contrast their own selected attributes including adaptability, communication and collaboration, among many others. Afterward, members used Meeting Pulse to submit the competencies that were most important to them and rated hopes, dreams and aspirations submitted after the first meeting.
The design team will collaborate together in two more virtual meetings on Dec. 9 and Jan. 6.
