Congressman Pete Sessions will recognize the 2024 recipients of the Congressional Veterans Commendation on Thursday, November 7. The honorees are from Houston, Trinity, Angelina, and Nacogdoches counties. Media representatives are invited to attend and are asked to notify in advance.
The event will take place at the Nacogdoches Expo and Convention Center located at 3895 NW Stallings Drive in Nacogdoches, Texas. The ceremony is scheduled for 6:00 PM CT.
The Congressional Veterans Commendation is a program based on nominations that acknowledges veterans for their military service and contributions to the community. Congressman Sessions stated that "honorees are exceptional Americans in every way."
