Early Wednesday morning, a successful, multi-faceted operation was conducted to safely relocate a group of twelve students and chaperones from Harmony Hill Baptist Church to Rome, Italy. The operation was skillfully coordinated by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Niamey.

This legislation amends the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 to extend a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) no-action letter to exclude brokers and dealers who are compensated for investment research from the definition of "investment adviser."

Sessions Introduces Innovative Health Care Reform Legislation H.R. 3129
On May 9, U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (TX-17) introduced H.R. 3129, the Health Care Fairness for All Act. This legislation would create a new option for Americans to obtain health care coverage via a health insurance tax credit that is portable, fair, and available to all Americans. The bill would also reduce health care costs, promote price transparency and competition, and would allow all Americans to save and pay for health care with a tax-advantaged Roth Health Savings Account (HSA).
