Enrollment Analysis: multiracial students comprised 2.4% of Cranfills Gap ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were three multiracial students enrolled in Cranfills Gap ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 50% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Cranfills Gap ISD schools welcomed 126 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 2.4% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Cranfills Gap ISD roughly covers schools within Bosque County and has a main office in Cranfills Gap.

Cranfills Gap School was the only school in the district which enrolled multiracial students, welcoming three students in the 2022-23 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
