How many Hispanic students were enrolled in Walnut Springs ISD schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 113 Hispanic students enrolled in Walnut Springs ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.9% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Walnut Springs ISD schools welcomed 171 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 66.1% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Walnut Springs ISD roughly covers schools within Bosque County and has a main office in Walnut Springs.

Walnut Springs School was the only school in the district which enrolled Hispanic students, welcoming 113 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
