Enrollment at Morgan ISD schools increased by 9.4% compared to previous school year

There were 152 students enrolled in Morgan ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 9.4% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.3% of them were girls, and 48.7% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 57.9% of the Morgan ISD total enrollment.

Morgan ISD roughly covers schools within Bosque County with its main office in Morgan.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
