There were 1,024 students enrolled in Clifton ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, a slight decrease from the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.1% of them were boys, and 47.9% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 57% of the Clifton ISD total enrollment.

Clifton ISD roughly covers schools within Bosque County with its main office in Clifton.

Among the three schools in Clifton ISD, Clifton Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 471 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
