Hill County schools enrollment of gifted and talented students is 354 students in the 2022-23 school year

Test 03

Hill County schools enrolled 354 students who were identified as being gifted and talented during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

This is a 2.3% increase over the previous school year.

Of the 5,467 students enrolled in Hill County schools, 6.5% of them were considered to be gifted and talented.

Hill County enrolled the 84th highest number of gifted and talented students among Texas counties.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
