Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 62.1% of Cranfills Gap ISD schools' student body in 2021-22 school year

There were 82 white students enrolled in Cranfills Gap ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 4.7% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Cranfills Gap ISD schools welcomed 132 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 62.1% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Cranfills Gap ISD roughly covers schools within Bosque County and has a main office in Cranfills Gap.

Cranfills Gap School was the only school in the district which enrolled white students, welcoming 82 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
