How many students were enrolled in Bruceville-Eddy ISD schools in 2021-22 school year?

There were 610 students enrolled in Bruceville-Eddy ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.7% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 53% of them were boys, and 47% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 63.6% of the Bruceville-Eddy ISD total enrollment.

Bruceville-Eddy ISD roughly covers schools within McLennan County with its main office in Eddy.

Among the six schools in Bruceville-Eddy ISD, Bruceville-Eddy High School recorded the highest enrollment of 204 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
