How many students were enrolled in Moody ISD schools in 2021-22 school year?

There were 688 students enrolled in Moody ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 3.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.3% of them were boys, and 49.7% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 52.6% of the Moody ISD total enrollment.

Moody ISD roughly covers schools within McLennan County with its main office in Moody.

Among the four schools in Moody ISD, Moody Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 238 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
