Of the 405 people living in Hallsburg in 2020, 50.1 percent (203) were women and 49.9 percent (202) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Waco Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 7. In the 65 and over age range, there were 39 females and 39 males.
