Grocery store chain H-E-B has plans to renovate one of its Waco stores at Wooded Acres and Bosque.
According to KWTX News, H-E-B will redesign and expand the current store from 90,400 square feet to 108,300 square feet. The remodeled store will include an updated exterior design; expand options for customers to choose how they shop, pay for and receive their products; and add H-E-B Curbside, which will give customers an option for picking up online orders.
Other store features will include an expanded inventory of food products and general merchandise offerings; 29 checkout stands featuring self-checkout registers; a pharmacy with a two-lane drive-thru and on-staff pharmacists; and a beer and wine department featuring an assortment of wines, and domestic, imported and craft beers.
The expansion project is scheduled to be complete by late 2021.
