A total of $890.5 million in monthly sales tax revenue has been allocated for Texas cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts.
According to the Comptroller's Office, the sales tax allocation for November was 4.8% higher compared to November 2019. These allocations are based on September sales by businesses that report tax monthly and sales made in July, August and September.
Falls County has been allocated $43,019.29 which is 4.6% higher than the amount it received last year. McLennan County has been allocated $1,889,012.87 which is 8.45% higher than the amount it received last year.
Some Central Texas counties were allocated significantly higher funds this year compared to last year.
Hill County has received $240,195.96, an increase of 15.5% compared to last year. Bosque County has been allocated $77,680.17 an increase of 45.67% compared to last year.
