There were 447 students enrolled in Hubbard ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.7% of them were boys, and 46.3% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 61.5% of the Hubbard ISD total enrollment.

Hubbard ISD roughly covers schools within Hill County with its main office in Hubbard.

Among the two schools in Hubbard ISD, Hubbard High School recorded the highest enrollment of 229 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
