Rosebud-Lott ISD welcomed 755 students in 2022-23 school year

There were 755 students enrolled in Rosebud-Lott ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 4.9% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.1% of them were girls, and 48.9% were boys.

The most represented ethnicity among Rosebud-Lott ISD students was white, accounting for 49.8% of the student population.

Rosebud-Lott ISD roughly covers schools within Falls County with its main office in Lott.

Among the three schools in Rosebud-Lott ISD, Rosebud-Lott Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 432 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
