Of the 656 people living in Golinda in 2020, 54.3 percent (356) were women and 45.7 percent (300) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Waco Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 42. In the 65 and over age range, there were 86 females and 63 males.
