Waco, like many cities across the country has a large share of homeless population within the city limits. In order to address this issue and understand how the city can help, Waco has partnered with Prosper Waco.
This partnership will allow Prosper Waco to operate the Homeless Management Information System, which is designed to collect data on the homeless population and help the city best understand how to meet their needs. The partnership appears to be a good match with the city providing aid and Proper Waco providing data analysis and management.
“We are proud to begin this new responsibility to provide data coordination for the City of Waco,” Prosper Waco CEO Suzii Paynter March said.
Community Services Director Raynesha Hudnell added, “Prosper Waco is a data-driven organization and is equipped to oversee the HMIS administrator position. We are confident in the work they have provided within the community and excited to partner with them to assist in data collection for the City of Waco."
