Senator Brian Birdwell recently shared updates on his activities through a series of tweets, highlighting his engagements within his district. These posts, made on June 8, 2025, detail his participation in various community events and initiatives.
On June 8, Senator Birdwell expressed his satisfaction at being back in the district. He attended an event alongside Congressman Sessions, President of MCC Dr. McKown, and RSVP Director Susan Copeland to honor volunteers from six counties for their extensive public service contributions. In his tweet, he stated “Great to be back in the district. I was pleased to join Congressman Sessions, President of MCC Dr. McKown, and RSVP Director Susan Copeland for the annual volunteer recognition of citizens from six counties who provide countless hours of public service.”
Later that day, Birdwell continued his activities in Waco by attending the Texas Ranger Association Foundation’s annual reunion dinner. The senator noted the presence of former Chief of the Rangers Kirby Dendy and Marquis Cantu, now Sheriff of Llano County. He commended the foundation’s efforts by saying “Continued my Saturday in Waco by joining the Texas Ranger Assoc. Foundation for their annual reunion dinner.”
Additionally, Senator Birdwell participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for the Hamilton County Community Center alongside local leaders such as Mayor Buchanan and Director Valerie Krehmeier. This new facility will serve as a congregate site and host Meals on Wheels programs, developed with local community support. He congratulated those involved by tweeting “Joined locals leaders (Mayor Buchanan and Dir. Valerie Krehmeier) for the ground breaking for the Hamilton County Community Center.”
