Serving in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Bill Flores, Sessions is active in celebrating the achievements of young individuals from his community.

On February 3, 2025, Sessions expressed his honor in celebrating Lucas Kusano’s appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He stated that “Lucas is a valuable member of our community and will be an asset to the USMA Class of 2029.” “Congratulations, Lucas!”

In another post on the same day, Sessions congratulated Bella Burgan on her appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy. He mentioned his role in nominating her for consideration and expressed pride in seeing her represent Texas’ 17th district: “I was honored to nominate Bella for consideration and am thrilled to see her go forward to make TX-17 proud.”
