Pat Curry, a Republican elected to the Texas State House in 2024 representing the state’s 56th House district, marked the anniversary of September 11 with a series of posts reflecting on the tragedy and its ongoing impact.

On September 11, 2025, Curry shared his thoughts about a memorial display: “Walking past this display of flags is a powerful reminder of the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Each flag symbolizes a life that was taken too soon, but also a call for us to remain united as Americans. May we always honor their memory and keep their families in our prayers.” (posted September 11, 2025).

Later that day, Curry expressed gratitude toward local educators: “I am deeply grateful to Midway High School for holding such a meaningful 9/11 ceremony today. Your commitment to honoring and remembering the lives lost 24 years ago ensures that their legacy lives on in future generations. I’m proud of the patriotism that these young people” (posted September 11, 2025).

Curry also referenced legislative matters in Texas with a brief post tagged “#txlege” on September 12, 2025: “#txlege”.

Curry assumed office after winning election in November 2024 and succeeded Charles Anderson as representative for Texas’s District 56.
