Pat Curry, a Republican elected in 2024 to represent Texas House District 56, recently used his social media platform to encourage civic participation and highlight local events and issues.
On November 4, 2025, Curry reminded constituents of the importance of voting, posting: “It’s Election Day HD-56! Make sure and hit the polls if you didn’t early vote! There are several important propositions to vote on. #txlege https://t.co/PkHwzMXFly”.
Two days later, on November 6, 2025, Curry shared details about a community engagement in Waco. He wrote: “I had a great time addressing my friends at @txextension in Waco today. We talked about the session, then chatted about local issues vital to Central Texas like water! #txlege https://t.co/qGduZq1DRl”.
Later that same day, Curry posted about participating in an event in Lubbock: “I was proud and honored to be asked to speak at the LUCA – Latinos United For Conservative Action Gala last night in the great city of Lubbock!Two incredible men were honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Delbert McDougal, a wonderful businessman, true trailblazer and https://t.co/1IAywXNTcU”.
Curry began serving as state representative for Texas House District 56 after being elected in 2024. He succeeded Charles Anderson as part of the district’s leadership transition.
