Pat Curry, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing District 56, has recently used his social media platform to highlight local community events, commemorate a significant international tragedy, and recognize youth leadership initiatives.

On October 7, 2025, Curry encouraged his constituents to participate in a national community event, stating, “Today is National Night Out and I want to encourage everyone to participate in their local events tonight. HD – 56 is blessed with some of the safest communities due to the hard work of our brave 1st responders. #txlege #NationalNightOut”.

Later that day, Curry addressed the anniversary of a major international incident, posting, “Today, we remember October 7th,one of the darkest days in modern history. Two years ago, Hamas terrorists carried out an unspeakable act of evil — murdering 1,200 innocent men, women, and children in Israel. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our ally Israel, united in faith,”.

On October 8, 2025, Curry shared his experience visiting local students involved in a military leadership program: “Today I had the tremendous honor to visit with a couple of JROTC classes at @MidwayISD . My family has personally experienced how valuable this program can be for a student and I was encouraged to see such strong leaders being shaped in our communities. #txlege”.

Curry was elected to the Texas State House in 2024 and succeeded Charles Anderson as the representative for District 56.
