Pat Curry, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 56th district, shared updates on social media regarding agricultural protection and new technological initiatives in his district.
On August 5, 2025, Curry emphasized the importance of supporting agriculture and food supply security. He wrote, “This is a very important and urgent matter that is needed to protect our Ag community and our food supply!!! Thank you Chairman @RyanGuillen for your leadership and dedication!”
Later that day, Curry posted about an event in his district involving Amazon’s drone delivery service. He stated, “Back home in the district yesterday, Amazon hosted a meet & greet with a “drone” that will be apart of the drone delivery service that will be apart of our district really soon! #txlege”
In a subsequent post, Curry expressed regret at not being able to attend the event due to legislative duties in Austin. He wrote, “In addition, I wish that I could have been there yesterday but was busy representing you in Austin and remain there today! It is an honor that Amazon chose our great community as one of the first area to implement such a wonderful service. Can’t wait to see them in action!!”
Curry was elected to the Texas State House in 2024 after replacing Charles Anderson as representative for District 56.
