Pat Curry, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing District 56, shared updates on recent legislative and community events through his social media posts in early September 2025.

On September 3, Curry highlighted participation in a local event by stating, “Today, the @WacoChamber held the State of the State luncheon with Governor @GregAbbott_TX . I was also happy to sit on a panel with Representative @angelia_orr that was moderated by @ricktullis where we discussed major wins for our area during the 89th. Great things are coming”.

Later that evening, he reflected on activities within his district: “I was proud to attend, support & witness the tremendous opportunities this means for our community before heading back down to Austin. It was a BUSY day in HD-56, but I’m proud of all that’s happening in HD-56. #txlege” (September 4).

In another post from September 4, Curry marked the conclusion of a legislative session with “89(2) is adjourned sine die! #txlege”.

Curry assumed office after being elected in 2024 to represent Texas’s 56th House district, succeeding Charles Anderson. His recent posts underscore engagement with both state-level legislative developments and local initiatives affecting his constituency.
