Baylor men’s tennis announced on Apr. 11 that it will host a doubleheader at the Hurd Tennis Center, beginning with a match against No. 4 Texas Christian University at 1 p.m. Central Time, followed by a contest against the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley at 6 p.m.

The matches mark the end of the regular season for Baylor, which is currently ranked No. 11 nationally and holds a record of 20-7 overall and 6-1 in Big 12 play. The team is riding an eight-match winning streak after recent victories over Midwestern State, Brigham Young University, and Texas Tech.

After facing TCU, Baylor will honor four seniors—Alexandru Chirita, Luc Koenig, Zsombor Velcz, and Arman Zamani—as part of its Senior Day celebrations.

TCU comes into Sunday’s match with an overall record of 18-5 and is also tied with Baylor for second place in the Big 12 standings. The Horned Frogs won their last meeting with Baylor during a non-conference matchup earlier this year in Fort Worth.

Baylor’s lineup features three nationally ranked singles players: Devin Badenhorst (No. 7), Zsombor Velcz (No. 35), and Connor Van Schalkwyk (No. 46). UTRGV enters Sunday’s game with a record of seven wins and fifteen losses but has momentum from two consecutive Southland Conference victories.

Live statistics and video coverage will be available for both matches. Fans can follow updates through Baylor men’s tennis social media accounts.
